Welcome to the most beautiful and enchanting city - Paris. Among a few others, Paris is one of the most romantic cities in the world. Paris looks beautiful in the day time and looks even more fabulous during the night. Because of its enchanting and illuminated look in the night, it is popularly called ‘The city of light’. There are innumerable sights which one can’t afford to miss out on while in Paris. Enjoy the walks along the bank of Seine River or a boat ride, take a walk through the gardens, or forget yourself admiring the breathtaking Eiffel Tower; discover all the magical places!
While you are in this heavenly place make the most out of it. Let us help you decide what you should see. You won´t see it all on your first visit anyway, you will just have to come back! You won´t mind that, you´ll fall in love with Paris even before you get here.
There´s so much to see in Paris, there´s enough to have a full agenda for at least 2 weeks. But don´t forget to relax having coffee or sipping wine while you write postcards in the sophisticated Paris cafés. If this is your first time in Paris, don’t forget to visit the popular museum ‘Musee du Louvre’. It carries a breathtaking collection of various popular artists and has an enchanting beauty of its own. This museum was actually constructed as a fortress some centuries ago and then after a few years rebuilt as a royal palace. The palace was than converted into a museum and in the 80’s was restructured with a glass pyramid entrance. It is a vast collection of paintings, sculptures and antiques and will keep you busy throughout your visit to the museum.
Than we have the world famous monument ‘Eiffel Tower’ standing 320 m tall which until 1930 held the world record of being the world’s tallest structure. After you capture the memories of the Eiffel tower, visit the ‘Catacombes’. These are underground tunnels that were used by the authorities to bury the dead. Those of you, who get a thrill in these adventurous trips, can not miss out on the underground eerie corridors stacked with bones...
Than we have the ‘Arc De Triomphe’ and ‘Champs Elysees’. The Arc de Triomphe is a major tourist attraction and attracts a lot of traffic, so we suggest you take a short walk to this historical monument. It was built by Napoleon Bonaparte. Get a spectacular view from above the Arc and if you look towards the Champs Elysees you’ll see the Seine glittering underneath. Well, there’s a lot more to see. We have the ‘Notre Dame’ with its warmth and beautiful architecture. On the opposite side is the ‘Conciergerie’ a palace later on used as a prison for the victims who were held there.
Enjoy a wonderful view of the city from the heights of The Largest Square in Europe – ‘Place De la Concorde’. Enjoy the ‘Tuileries Gardens’ which lie in between 2 museums ‘The Jeu De Paume’ with its modern collection and the ‘Orangerie’ with its rare collection unmatchable to any collection elsewhere.
Musée d´Orsay’ is yet another museum located in an old station. It has the best collection of sculptures and includes between other popular artists the entire collection of Rodin.
While Paris is full of Art and museums there are also the operas Paris is popular for. Opera Bastille, representing the modern technology and Opera Garnier, which is more popular for its ballets since the opening of Opera Bastille.
